Personal Protective Equipment
All employees and subcontractors are required to always wear the correct PPE while on site.
Minimum PPE Requirements:
- Safety helmets
- Safety boots
- Reflective clothing
- Gloves
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection where required
- Respiratory protection for dust and asbestos exposure
- Full body fall arrest harnesses for working at heights
Working at Heights
All roof and elevated work is carried out in accordance with Working at Heights regulations and site safety procedures.
Height Safety Procedures:
- Use of certified fall arrest harnesses and lifelines
- Secured anchor points and rope systems
- Daily toolbox talks and risk assessments
- Controlled roof access
- Weather condition monitoring before commencement of work
- Only trained personnel permitted to work at heights
- Tools secured to prevent falling objects
Asbestos Awareness & Compliance
Eco Rubber Industrial recognises the health risks associated with asbestos-containing materials and follows strict compliance procedures.
Asbestos Safety Standards:
- Asbestos assessments conducted before work begins where necessary
- Suspected asbestos materials are not disturbed without approval
- Use of approved respirators and disposable protective clothing
